Our Story
In September of 2017, we fell in love with and purchased a 1912 farmhouse in Skagit County. Miles of beautiful and productive agricultural land stretched around it in every direction. In the middle of all this farmland, we couldn't help but dream about starting up a micro farming operation on our modest acre.
With little experience growing food, we looked help from the WSU extension program. In our farm entrepreneurship class, we met other local growers pursuing their dreams and learning ways to improve their chances of success.
Our first year was a busy one as we experimented in our small greenhouse and considered what foods to grow. The local farmers we met provided inspiration and good advice. We began to realize that we are surrounded by an amazingly innovative community of growers.
With each passing year, we hope to better understand how to grow delicious food and how best to make it available to our customers. We hope you will join us in helping to preserve the agricultural heritage of Skagit Valley by supporting local farmers and farmer's markets.
